Mary came to Xerimis in 2019 to develop the Global Program Management team. Her team provides global operational leadership to Xerimis clients running complex, international studies. This entails coordination of clinical trial services between the three Xerimis locations (US, UK, and NL) as required by a study, while providing a single point of contact — a global program manager — to the client. Under Mary’s direction, the team also helps clients navigate regulations and understand QP (Qualified Person) requirements in the UK and EU, critical to ensuring deliverables meet their intended timelines.

In 2021, Mary helped launch, and has since overseen, APEX (Advanced Protocol Execution) services from Xerimis. APEX offers comprehensive clinical supply management solutions, from inventory, forecasting, and IRT support, to support of protocol, study, and kit design. In 2022, Mary’s responsibilities evolved further to include supervision of Xerimis’ Project Management team, who work with clients on packaging and labeling design, batch record preparation, timelines, and execution.

Mary started her career at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, and after several twists of fate she found herself coordinating clinical trials at the University of Pennsylvania. From there she moved to Merck, where she successfully managed Phase 3 studies before transitioning to roles in project management: first with Forest Laboratories, and then with Galderma. Along with advancing her project management skills in these positions, Mary honed her interest in change management. She has taken these skills to effectively apply change management concepts to Xerimis’ fast-paced organizational growth.

Mary obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill University and a master’s degree in organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been PMP-certified since 2011.
