Happy 25th Anniversary, Xerimis!

On June 1, 2001, Xerimis Inc. officially opened its doors with the goal of providing superior clinical trial services in support of pharmaceutical innovation.

Behind these ambitious plans were Peter and Loretta Bernardo, a dynamic duo with longtime careers in pharmaceutical R&D and nursing, respectively. Their shared desire to start a company of their own was first realized in 1988 when they founded Simirex, a successful contract packaging organization (CPO) for clinical supplies. As Simirex became well-known throughout the global clinical supply space, it caught the attention of Quintiles Transnational, one of the largest clinical research organizations (CROs) in the world. Quintiles acquired Simirex in 1998.

Eager to continue supporting pharmaceutical innovation, Peter and Loretta set their sights on opening a new company: Xerimis. Today, we are a leading provider of clinical supply packaging and distribution services with locations in the United States, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands! We continue to grow while staying firmly grounded in our core values that have enabled our success to date—our commitment to quality, our responsiveness to clients, our flexibility in problem-solving, and our reliability in delivering services as promised.
